SPIRITUAL PURLIEU

The light, different procedures and movement through the cemetery accomplished the purpose of creating a sacred space where the remains of people can peacefully rest. I reflected some sacred spaces by adding personals rooms and wall designated towards the back of the site. The angle shape and diagonal walls are assigned to guide the sun light; therefore it creates natural shade and develops a peaceful and spiritual environment. I also created perceptible circulation and a clear path of the space so people can enjoy their time and feel comfortable visiting their loved one. The multiple precedents helped me determined the composition of the place and the concept that I wanted to demonstrate in the project.
